The shop helps to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences, Essential Activities, and Essential Businesses. Our customers are the Cities including Santa Rosa, Windsor and Cotati, The Santa Rosa Airport, Santa Rosa Fire, Cal Fire, PG&E and contractors to PG&E who are clearing lines and properties of trees and brush. 

 The utility is considered necessary to maintaining the “Essential Infrastructure” of the gas and electric systems within PG&E service territory and is exempt from the shelter-in-place order issued by the State of California and orders issued by various countries. Moreover, PG&E operations constitute Critical infrastructure under United States Presidential Policy Directive 21.

Likewise, businesses that support essential infrastructure and considered essential businesses are also exempt from orders (see State Order at Section 1; San Francisco Order at Section 10.f(xv)).
